Art is an integral part of the City of Pomona's culture and history. The City's Art in Public Places Program ("AIPP Program"), housed within the Office of Economic and Business Affairs (OEBA), reflects this commitment. The program is currently staffed by one full-time AIPP Program Manager who reports to the Deputy Director of the OEBA.
The City is now seeking a Technical Specialist II - Art in Public Places Program Coordinator to join the Cultural Arts team and contribute to the vibrancy of our community. This position will assist the Management Analyst in coordinating the maintenance and preservation of the City's Public Art Collection. The role will also support additional AIPP Program initiatives as needed, including Calls for Art, the Chalk Art Festival, and the Watercolor Contest.

Assignment and Work Schedule Overview
Generally 20 hours per week and less than 1,000 hours in a fiscal year, schedule will be defined in consultation with candidate for hire as part of onboarding process. City Hall is open Monday through Thursday, 7 : 30 AM - 6 : 00 PM and closed Fridays.
