Care-Partner / CNA for the Forensic Unit

Nashville General Hospital is hiring for a Full Time Night Shift Care-Partner / CNA for the Forensic Unit in Nashville, TN.

This Care Partner position will be a Certified Nursing Assistant that is primarily responsible for providing direct care for assigned patients under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. A care partner / CNA gets direction from a licensed nurse to assist the patient with needs and tasks.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Taking and recording patient vitals
• Helping patients with daily tasks, including getting dressed and using the restroom
• Monitoring patient progress and maintaining health records
• Fostering strong relationships with patients and making patients feel comfortable
• Aiding communication between patients and healthcare teams
• Communicating with the patient's family
• Helping patients plan for hospital discharge
