About The Position

Job Title : Respiratory Care Practitioner Profession : Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Specialty : Respiratory Care Duration : Not Specified Shift : Nights, Mon-Fri, 11pm-7am, every third weekend Hours per Shift : 12 hours Experience : Not Specified License : Current Indiana State license for Respiratory Care Practitioners Certifications : BLS required, ACLS and NRP certifications preferred or obtainable within six months, PALS and Stable preferred but not required Must-Have : Must be a graduate of a respiratory therapy program. Must obtain entry level certification and have a valid Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from the NBRC. Must be able to be on call. Must be able to lift 30 pounds. Description : Provides care to all patient populations for therapeutic purposes. Provides bedside diagnostic procedures as needed. Reviews and maintains respiratory care plans. Performs evaluations on patients and adjusts the care appropriately. Assists as a preceptor for students and new hires.
