Job descriptionWork 12-hour night shifts from 6 : 30 PM to 7 : 00 AM Three days per week with every other weekend requirement Weekend requirements include 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week period (Nights : Friday and Saturday) First to float as needed Patient placement role with zero hands-on patient care Place patients in appropriate beds across up to 3 hospitals managing 500-1000 beds Use critical thinking skills to assess bed placement appropriateness and communicate with charge nurses or leadership Work with 3 screens utilizing multiple applications including TeleTracking, Cerner, and Google applications Participate in multiple chats with ED, leadership, and others requiring bed placement Must have recent acute care experience (2 years preferred, 1 year acceptable) Required experience with TeleTracking and Cerner systems Must be proficient with computers, Zoom, and Google applications Strong multitasking and customer service skills required Must understand different hospital departments and units (Med-Surg vs Telemetry, etc.) BLS certification required Complete required modules before assignment start (3-4 hours, non-billable) Pass DYS exam through UNA within 24-48 hours of acceptance (2 attempts allowed) Must be available to work holidays when needed with no PTO allowed RTO needs to be very limited to none Dress code allows scrubs of any color (clean and professional) or casual attire including jeans without rips and clean hoodies 1 day general hospital orientation plus 3-5 days department orientation Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment Referral bonus
