About The Position

Must-Have : Competency in a wide range of specialties including Ortho / Neuro, GYN, Urology, and robotics.
Description :
Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as professionally described.
Demonstrates critical thinking competency through the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Upholds professional performance standards including ethical practice, culturally congruent practice, and evidence-based practice.
Strives to achieve optimal outcomes for patients.
Education Level : Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing must be obtained within specified timeframes for those in the RN role.
Experience :
Successful completion of a competency-based orientation program is required.
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Time management and organizational skills are critical.
Ability to make quality, independent decisions and solve problems effectively.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work efficiently under tight deadlines.
Competency in various computer hardware and software systems is necessary.
Essential Functions :
Provides evidence-based nursing care consistent with interprofessional plans.
Communicates and collaborates with other healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
Acts as a patient and family advocate.
Demonstrates a high standard of moral, ethical, and culturally sensitive behavior.
Identifies expected outcomes and develops an individualized interprofessional plan of care.
Evaluates patient and family educational needs and adjusts teaching strategies accordingly.
Facilitates smooth transitions for patient discharge planning.
Ensures accurate and timely documentation of required information.
Assumes a leadership role and delegates appropriately to unlicensed assistive personnel.
Engages in professional development and self-evaluation related to nursing practice.
Participates in ongoing quality improvement activities and safety initiatives.
Performs other duties as assigned.
