Job Description
What you will be doing :
Drive continuous discovery for our onboarding experience across multiple digital product teams.Shape user experiences through ongoing research and actionable insights.Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to simplify financial decisions.Co-create research plans and prioritize learning objectives with product teams.Conduct weekly or bi-weekly moderated user interviews and usability tests using UserTesting.com or similar platforms.Engage with a range of customer segments to validate concepts and uncover user needs.Analyze and synthesize research findings into actionable insights and recommendations.Deliver regular research summaries and next-step recommendations to stakeholders.Advise on research priorities across multiple product teams, including web, mobile, AI-driven, and retail systems.Support additional teams or initiatives as assigned.Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure research is actionable and aligned with business goals.Share findings within knowledge management systems and facilitate team learning.Conduct usability testing of prototypes and live products (e.g., AI features, tax calculators, onboarding flows).Validate concepts for new account creation and profile experiences.Discover gaps and opportunities in financial health tools for key customer segments.Validate future-state concepts for digital platforms.Produce weekly or bi-weekly research synthesis reports.Record moderated interviews and prepare summaries.Provide actionable recommendations for product teams.Document and share results with relevant stakeholders.Participate in research planning and allow product teams to observe user interviews.Share insights at the team level; executive presentations are not required.Maintain a consistent cadence of user research and synthesis.Engage effectively with stakeholders during research activities and deliverables.Validate hypotheses and refine onboarding experiences.Utilize tools such as UserTesting.com and Insights Engine provided by the company.Collaborate with product teams for research planning and insight generation.Report to the Director of the Customer Center of Excellence (or designee) with dotted-line alignment to the Director of Design for onboarding vision work.Adapt to the evolving scope based on organizational needs.Experience you will need :
Senior or Lead-level UX Researcher with 5-15 years of relevant experience.Proficient with UserTesting.com or similar remote research tools.Strong skills in generative research, interview moderation, and usability testing.Experience balancing AI-driven and human-generated insights.Excellent communicator and collaborator, able to work independently and with diverse teams.Our client asked me to submit 3 great people within the next few days.
