Summary Statement : The Poker Dealer is responsible for providing guest service in the poker room and to Resorts World Las Vegas. This includes welcoming guests, ensuring accuracy while dealing to multiple patrons, assisting guests with various needs, and supporting efforts to promote gameplay. Primary Job Duties : – Includes but is not limited to : Conduct and assist with the operation of poker games. Ensure the accuracy of table bank, pots, and table rake. Communicate verbally with supervisors regarding unnatural or irregular play and dispute during the game. Clearly verbalize player instructions, rules, and any other information as required by the game procedures. Maintain a professional, friendly, and courteous atmosphere to provide guests with an exceptional gaming experience. Qualifications : – Includes but is not limited to : Must be proficient in dealing poker. Ability to effectively communicate in English. At least one to two years of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Preferred : Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting. Minimum Education and Experience : At least 21 years of age. High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of one to three years of experience as a poker dealer in a similar environment. Certificates, Licenses, Regulations : Proof of eligibility to work in the United States. Ability to obtain the following : Nevada Gaming Registration Physical Demands : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
