Job descriptionHas led a team of application programmers under Microsoft development stack. Familiarity with frameworks such as Vue, React, NodeJS, Angular, Typescript. Experience designing and developing distributed systems (Microservices / SOA) Experience developing reports with SSRS, PowerBI, Tableau, or other reporting tools Experience setting up, maintaining and using DevOps practices, including CI / CD pipelines, such as GitHub Actions and Octopus Deploy, and automating tasks Experience with the Git Version Control System, including branching strategies for complex systems Proficiency in front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js and React. Familiarity with Figma for UI / UX prototyping and design collaboration. Strong understanding of RESTful API design and integration. Proficiency in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code practices using tools like Terraform. Solid understanding of security best practices including OAuth 2.0, JWT, and HTTPS / TLS. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Experience working in Agile environments with iterative development practices. Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS. Familiarity with API integrations for external data sources. Exposure to modular or microservices architectures. Knowledge of message-based systems (e.g., RabbitMQ) and asynchronous programming models. JOB TITLE : Application Programmer The scope of the proposed services will include the following : Experience and expertise in web development with C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, and HTML Designs, codes, compiles, tests, debugs and documents new and existing web applications, maintenance and support of existing applications Performing quality assurance reviews and testing on new code Participates in all necessary team meetings and design sessions in accordance with Scrum ceremonies Provide technical knowledge transfer, training, documentation, mentorship and guidance to State personnel for all requested work Monitor, review and audit performance Expertise and / or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory : 2+ years of expertise and / or relevant experience in the following areas : 11 o C# o ASP.NET Core o Entity Framework Expertise and / or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory : 2+ years of expertise and / or relevant experience in the following areas : o Recent experience developing applications in MVC architecture using .NET Core .x or 3.x or .NET 5 and greater o VueJS o Bootstrap o Javascript o SQL Server (T-SQL) o SSIS / SSRS o IIS o Agile / Scrum Methodology o Distributed Design Systems (SOA / Microservices) o DevOps Practices (CI / CD)
Job Description
The Office of Technology Services (OTS) was established as a means of recognizing cost savings through the consolidation of State IT assets and resources. The creation of OTS consolidated a wide variety of existing hardware platforms, operating systems, database management systems, networks, third party software, and custom applications. OTS leads the State's technology procurement process in order to standardize technology over the entire organization, seek efficiencies of operations, maintenance, and scalability of new products introduced to the OTS suite of services which can eventually be offered to all in-scope agencies. The State intends to secure temporary IT personnel for job title(s) listed below : IT Staffing Resource Area : 1 Senior Application Programmer Number of resources : 1 IT Staffing Resource Area : 1 Application Programmer Number of resources : 1 JOB TITLE : Senior Application Programmer The scope of the proposed services will include the following :
- Development, administration & configuration of a custom-built .NET development project
- Provide technical knowledge transfer, training, documentation, mentorship, and guidance to State personnel for all requested work
- Provide oversight and guidance of the customer-agency's replacement software and make performance improvements
- Perform code reviews and testing on new code
- Participates in all necessary team meetings and design sessions in accordance with Scrum ceremonies
- Cooperation with the State's Technical Architect to ensure compliance with OTS standards of State applications Expertise and / or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory :
- Five (5) plus years of expertise and / or relevant experience in the following areas : o C# o ASP.NET Core (version 6.0 or later) o MSSQL
- Two (2) plus years enterprise-level software development
- Two (2) plus years of experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment
Expertise and / or relevant experience in the following areas are desirable but not mandatory :
