Job Title : Assembly

Job Description

The Assembler will be responsible for using work instructions and hand tools to build industrial sweeping machines. There are four different assembly stations, each progressively more complex, involving tasks such as installing brakes, tires, lift arms, hoses, harnesses, sub-assemblies, and conducting final assembly. Each station requires approximately 4-5 hours of labor.

Responsibilities

• Use work instructions to guide the assembly process.
• Utilize hand and power tools for mechanical assembly tasks.
• Install components including brakes, tires, lift arms, hoses, harnesses, and sub-assemblies.
• Perform final assembly of industrial sweeping machines.
• Work efficiently across four distinct assembly stations.

Work Environment

The work setting is a clean manufacturing environment that deviates from the traditional assembly line. Instead, there are multiple stations where various assembly processes are completed. The facility is well-lit and safety-conscious. The position operates on the 1st shift from 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Crystal Lake, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00 / hr.
