The Memorial Health Championship presented by LRS is accepting applications for the 2026 Championship Intern program. The Memorial Health Championship presented by LRS is a PGA TOUR-sanctioned event on the Korn Ferry Tour, is conducted annually at Panther Creek Country Club in Springfield, IL. The four-day, 72-hole competition features 156 players from around the world competing for a total purse of $1,000,000. As the path to the PGA TOUR, the Korn Ferry Tour features some of the most talented professional golfers who are ready to compete on golf's biggest stage. The 2025 Memorial Health Championship presented by LRS will be held June 22- 28, 2026. The tournament is managed by Eventive Sports Properties, a nationwide sports management company based in Birmingham, AL.

Internship Overview : Championship Interns will work alongside full-time championship staff on many aspects of the event. Primary areas of concentration will include marketing and operations, as well as sales, volunteers, and overall event execution. The ideal candidate will possess strong written and oral communication skills, the ability to work independently on multiple projects, and a willingness to go above and beyond for tournament stakeholders. Interns will be asked to take ownership of key projects and will gain strong professional experience. This internship is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in sports management, marketing, communications, event management, or related field.
