Commercial Estimator – Columbus, Ohio

Salary : $125,000 – $145,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Commercial General Contractor

We are partnering with a well-established Commercial General Contractor in Columbus, Ohio , currently seeking a talented Commercial Estimator to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants long-term stability, a strong project pipeline, and the ability to influence estimating strategy within a growing business.

The Role

As a key member of the preconstruction team, you will be responsible for preparing detailed estimates, coordinating bids, analyzing drawings and specifications, and supporting strategic planning on upcoming projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate conceptual and hard-bid estimates for commercial projects
• Review drawings, specifications and subcontractor proposals
• Lead quantity take-offs and cost analysis
• Create and manage bid packages
• Build and maintain strong subcontractor relationships
• Support preconstruction planning and value-engineering solutions
• Work closely with project managers, field teams, and leadership during handoff
