As this is a hybrid role, working out of our Creative Studios in Westlake, Ohio, we will focus on candidates who currently reside in Northeast Ohio.
The E-Commerce Analyst will play a critical role in supporting core business functions including Sales / Business Development / Account Management, Marketing, Business Intelligence, Category Management, Demand Forecasting, Supply Chain Operations & Logistics, Finance, and Product Management.
In order to be successful in this role, you must have strong communication skills in order to effectively consult and share insights across a variety of subject domains.
Duties will include developing and maintaining a regular cadence of standardized reporting, as well as addressing ad hoc requests in a timely and accurate manner. Data will originate from a variety of sources including retailer portals (e.g., large online e-commerce retailers, grocery retailers, international big box retailers, etc.), vendor portals (e.g., Stackline, Profitero, Salsify, etc.), AG financial systems, and AG's data lake (e.g., Snowflake).
Consequently, this role will require the ability to access data using SQL, and process data for projects using r or python. This role will perform regular audits to ensure that the data is accurate and complete and, when necessary, working with Information Technology or 3rd parties to address issues.
Our ideal candidate will have a passion for using data to evaluate online performance trends, identify new business opportunities, reduce costs, and / or contribute a data-based perspective to the Omnichannel team addressing complex business problems (e.g., returns processing, freight reduction, media spend, merchandising optimizations, seasonal demand forecasting, etc.).
This role will assist the Director in proactively identifying, evaluating, adopting, and advocating for the application of cutting-edge analytical tools in support of its eCommerce business.
