Outpatient Behavioral Health Therapist - Intake Team

Position Summary :

Continuum Care Services has immediate openings for LicensedBehavioral Health Therapists to join our Intake Teams. This position(collectively referred to as "Intake", "Intake Team", or "Intake Specialist")specifically focuses on the "intake, screening, and assessment" phases ofservice delivery. This professional must demonstrate competency inutilizing professional practice and clinical judgment in recommending theappropriate type and level of care for the individual referred. Screening andassessment skills guide recommendations for both prevention and treatment;inclusive of whole-person needs - behavioral health, physical health, andsocial determinants of health. As a licensed behavioral health therapist,competency in evidence-based clinical practices (e.g. motivationalinterviewing), clinical assessment and observation, crisis prevention andplanning, documentation, treatment planning, and referral are essentialcomponents in gathering the data necessary to support access to care andtreatmentand success in this role.

NC Licensure Requirements : Must have andmaintain a current, valid North Carolina professional practice license(LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, LCAS) that can be verified by the respective NorthCarolina professional practice Board.

Position Status (Availability) : Full-time, Part-time, or per diem (as needed)

Work Hours : Open, flexible scheduling;General Office hours are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm; Community-based service hoursmay extend until 8 : 00pm seasonally (i.e. during spring and summer months) whendaylight hours are longer; weekend availability for candidates who preferweekends

Compensation Structure : Incentive pay for"Intake" (includes associated intake paperwork, screenings, andcomprehensive clinical assessment) completed

• within 24-hours of thescheduled appointment :
• 50 per "intake" for Provisionally Licensed
• 55 per "intake" for Fully Licensed
• 5.00 per "intake" additional incentive for community-based Intake Team service
• Documents are signed in the EHR with all appropriateand required sections filled in.

Required Education : Master's Level

Experience :

Occupational Certification / Licenses : Valid,current North Carolina Driver's License
