Our mission is to exceed the expectations of our partner organizations, support our dedicated team members & deliver exceptional care to our patients.ROLE OVERVIEWThe Physician will have a clinical focus on general physical medicine and rehabilitation Internal Medicine & Midlevel support serves as patients primary physician & performs H&Ps.Assessment and management of patients with long term functional limitations; development of a plan of care in consultation with other specialistsThe ideal candidate must be proficient managing medically complex patients and comfortable taking care of a variety of rehab-related diagnoses on the unit.Perform medical procedures to treat pain and improve physical functioningLead a team of medical professionals, which may include physical therapists as well as occupational therapists, with the goal of optimizing patient careMonitor ongoing progress and health of patients and adjust treatment plans accordinglyProvide tools and guidance that allow that patient to adapt and improve overall health physical functioningCounsel patients as well as their families Additional procedural opportunities may include botulinum toxin injections, baclofen pump management and EMGs.
