Manager of Proposal Writing

A company is looking for a Manager, Proposal Writing to lead their proposal development function in the public safety technology sector.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of proposal writers and coordinators, establishing goals and performance metrics

Oversee the full lifecycle of the proposal process, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality responses

Maintain and improve proposal content library, templates, and style guides while ensuring compliance and quality control

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in proposal development, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role

Proven track record in leading successful government proposal responses, preferably in the public safety or technology sectors

Deep knowledge of the RFP / RFI / RFQ process and government procurement practices

Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Business, Public Administration, or related field; equivalent experience considered

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with proposal automation tools preferred
