Overview

Productivity Solutions Specialist based in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Barrett is an equal opportunity employer. Description : As a Productivity Solutions Specialist, you will work closely with business teams to understand their needs and design end-to-end solutions using Microsoft 365 tools like SharePoint, Teams, and Power Platform. You will help streamline processes, automate workflows, and eliminate inefficiencies to drive productivity improvements, combining technical expertise with a strong understanding of business operations to create smarter, more efficient ways of working across the organization.

About the Role

  • Proactively engage business stakeholders to understand operating context and identify meaningful productivity improvement opportunities that enhance efficiency and collaboration.
  • Identify, implement and champion productivity technologies, primarily Microsoft 365 and emerging platforms, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in consultation with the Group Office regarding the design of M365 solutions, information architectures, governance processes, and frameworks.
  • Design, build, and implement automation solutions (e.g., Power Platform) to optimize business and technical processes.
  • Maintain, support and administer solutions, including access management, performance monitoring, capacity, automations, troubleshooting, and end-user assistance.
  • Prepare and conduct audits across the M365 environment (Intranet, Teams, SharePoint, Power Automate) to ensure relevance, accuracy, and security.
  • Develop and deliver training, guidance, and knowledge assets to improve digital literacy, technology awareness, and solution adoption.
  • Monitor technology trends and emerging productivity solutions; recommend innovations that deliver measurable business value.
  • Contribute to organizational and technological change by directing or supporting related projects and acting as a business advocate within IT.
  • All other duties as directed.

About You

You are analytical and detail-oriented, with a knack for turning business needs into practical solutions. You enjoy collaborating with stakeholders, leveraging Microsoft 365 tools to simplify processes, and finding new ways to boost productivity and efficiency.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management, or a related field required. Masters degree preferred.
  • 5+ years experience administering M365 at an enterprise level, ideally in a global organization, including information architecture and governance, and intranet development.
  • 3+ years experience developing M365 applications (SharePoint, Teams, Power Automate) to deliver solutions meeting business requirements.
  • Relevant Microsoft Certifications.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of infrastructure and security concepts and technologies.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously and in teams; effective negotiator with internal and external stakeholders.
