Job descriptionTreat patients with concussions and traumatic brain injuries (TBI) Administer greater occipital nerve (GON) injections and trigger point injections (training provided if needed) Utilize magnesium and natural treatment routes as preferred options Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in Illinois Neurology board certification required Candidate must have neuro experience (primary care or ICU backgrounds acceptable) Experience with TBI and concussions preferred; training on specific procedures can be provided Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities Engage with peers and colleagues in collaborative learning environments, sharing insights, best practices, and innovative approaches to patient care. About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Neurology Nurse Practitioner for a 36-day locum tenens assignment in Illinois. This opportunity begins on Nov 17, 2025, and offers day shifts from 8 am to 5 pm with a flexible schedule across select weekdays and Saturdays. The ideal candidate will have prior neuro experience, preferably with traumatic brain injuries (TBI) and concussions, and will provide specialized care for patients using evidence-based techniques.
