About The Team
Stripe’s mission is to increase the GDP of the internet. We build economic infrastructure for internet businesses of every size in pursuit of this mission. The Global Payments Performance team is part of Stripe’s broader Customer Success organization and the team’s mission is to help Stripe and its users reduce costs, optimize conversion, reduce fraud, and effectively respond to changes in the payments landscape. Today, Stripe is live in 42+ markets and the team is situated across multiple global offices to support Stripe’s growth around the world.
What you’ll do
We are looking for a Payment Performance leader to set and execute the strategy for the Americas team, including supporting new user adoption of Stripe, existing user growth through payment excellence, increasing the early success of our new payments users with Stripe, and increasing our visibility across the payment industry. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity; think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges; and earn trust with and influence others. A strong sense of ownership, drive to have an impact, and entrepreneurial spirit are musts.

In‑office Expectations
Office‑assigned Stripe employees in most of our locations are currently expected to spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This expectation may vary depending on role, team, and location. For example, Stripe employees in our Bucharest, Romania site have an 80% in‑office expectation, and those in Stripe Delivery Center roles in Mexico City, Mexico and Bengaluru, India work 100% from the office. Some teams have greater in‑office attendance requirements to appropriately support our users and workflows; the hiring manager will discuss this further.
Pay and Benefits
The annual US base salary range for this role is $208,100 – $312,100. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On‑Target Earnings (OTE) range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions / bonuses target and annual base salary. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants located outside the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
