Travel LPN – Emergency Department (Nights)

Location : Syracuse, NY

Start Date : 11 / 6 / 2025

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Nights, 12-hour shifts

Schedule : Every other weekend and some holidays

Requirements :

Current New York State LPN license

CPR certification (able to certify / re-certify)

Minimum 1 year recent ED experience (inpatient experience preferred)

IV insertion and phlebotomy skills required

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred

Responsibilities :

Perform patient care functions in an acute care ED setting with minimal supervision

Greet patients, direct them to exam rooms, and prepare for exams

Assist with exams, including setup of trays for injections and procedures

Measure and record patient progress and vital signs

Assist physicians with patient care, procedures, and injections

Maintain exam rooms and clinical areas

Complete general office duties, scheduling, chart preparation, and insurance / physician communications

Implement nursing care activities under direction of RN

Observe and report patient responses to treatments

Participate in nursing unit management activities
