Production Supervisor

This is a 2nd shift Production Supervisor position. The working hours are from 3 PM to 1 AM or 4 PM to 2 AM. The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all staff on the 2nd shift, which includes the CNC Department, Machine Build Department, Weld Department, and Paint Department. Initially, the candidate will undergo training on the 1st shift across these departments to gain a comprehensive understanding and facilitate better management. Upon completion of training, the Supervisor will transition to the 2nd shift as the sole leadership figure.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee and manage the CNC, Machine Build, Weld, and Paint Departments on the 2nd shift.
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Conduct disciplinary actions for issues such as tardiness and unexcused absences.
• Complete new hire checklists and conduct safety training for new employees.
• Provide crane certification training for new hires.
• Contribute to writing work instructions to improve existing systems.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
