PRN Speech-Language Pathologist - Acute Care

Hospital / Clinic Information : PT Solutions proudly has partnered with Advent Health Carrollwood, which is a 120-bed facility located in the heart of Tampa. This hospital is a registered Primary Stroke Center and recently hired 4 new orthopedic surgeons. Clinicians can expect to see / treat majority post op ortho cases, with some neuro mixed in. This is an all-acute care hospital.

PRN Shift / Hour Requirements : 2 weekend day shifts per month, 1 major holiday, 1 minor holiday

Your Responsibilities as an Acute Care Speech Language Pathologist

• Deliver evidence-based, quality care to each patient to facilitate return home or to next level of care
• Establish timely treatment plans for each patient's specific needs
• Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, patient families, fellow clinicians, and other hospital team members
• Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital (I.e. physicians, case management, nurses, etc)

Pay Rate : $50.00 per hour + $65.00 on call rate
