Anesthesiologist

Location : Brooke Army Medical Center, San Antonio, Texas

CentralCare Inc  is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Anesthesiologist to provide full-time services at Brooke Army Medical Center , a Level 1 Trauma Center in San Antonio, Texas . This is a great opportunity for anesthesiologists to support our military and their families as federal civilian contractors.

A Texas medical license is required for this position. If you do not currently hold a Texas license, we are happy to assist with the licensing process.

Pay :  Hourly ( Increased in 2025 )

Availability : Full Time preferred | PRN Considered if Local

  • Shift :   4X10s (Considered Full Time)
  • Call :   YES 4p-7a (2-4 shifts a month)
  • Contract Length : 1 year Preferred (opportunity to extend)
  • Malpractice Insurance :   We Cover for Full Time (1mil / 3mil occurrence)
  • Estimated Credentialing Timeframe :  45-60 days

Anesthesiologist Responsibilities :

Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

  • Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other medical professionals to develop and implement anesthetic plans.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards.
  • Participate in on-call rotations as needed.

    • Anesthesiologist Qualifications :

    Medical degree from an accredited medical school.

  • Completion of an accredited residency program in Anesthesiology.
  • Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiologists.
  • Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Texas.
  • Active DEA
  • Active BLS, PALS, and ACLS
