Job Description

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with NMR spectrometers
Solve complex regio- and stereoisomer structures by NMR
Lead and coordinate NMR lab relocation activities
Drive automation and workflow improvements
Advanced degree in Chemistry or related field, with demonstrated NMR structure elucidation experience
Proficiency in Bruker NMR platforms
Experience with NMR hardware and troubleshooting
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Commitment to safety and collaboration
Be part of a collaborative team making a real difference in drug discovery
Work onsite in a state-of-the-art lab environment

Must-Have

Bachelor's Degree

2+ years of experience

Experience in compound structural analysis by NMR-based and Mass Spectrometry methods.

Working knowledge of NMR-instrumentation and hardware.

Familiarity with standard laboratory techniques and working knowledge of HPLC and purification techniques.

Interact effectively with peers and leaders as part of a multi-disciplinary team and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Effective communication skills

Nice-to-Have

Broad knowledge of various analytical software packages (e.g. Agilent, ACD Labs, Bruker, etc).

Proficiency with basic NMR instrument upkeep and troubleshooting issues.

Experience with logistics around lab set-up after a site move.

Familiarity with development / execution of workflows for the parallel purification and analysis of compound libraries.
