A company is looking for an Inpatient Coder II.

Key Responsibilities

Assigns ICD-10 CM / PCS codes and ensures compliance with coding guidelines

Abstracts data from medical documentation for reporting requirements

Maintains coding accuracy and productivity standards to meet client satisfaction

Required Qualifications

Certification in coding (e.g., CCS, CCA, or RHIT)

Experience in inpatient coding and knowledge of ICD-10 CM / PCS

Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and coding software

Ability to stay updated with coding changes and guidelines

Completion of required Continuing Education hours for credential maintenance
