BLD is a busy, boutique interior design firm, serving mostly Western Loudoun County clientele. We're looking for a talented, experienced, entrepreneurial Interior Designer / Project Manager. Our ideal candidate is detail oriented, loves the design business, is organized, a strong communicator, with an ability to multi-task. This role will include design work, project management, and participation in business management.

Role will start as an assistant / Project Manager to the principal designer

Responsibilities will include :

• Assist with the creation of interesting and timeless designs according to BLD and client's aesthetic, lifestyle and budget requirements
• Manage all project details and plans, including timelines and implementation plans
• Source and price materials and furnishings
• Specification of construction elements such as cabinetry, built-ins and trim details
• Maintain client, vendor, and contractor communications
• General office and administrative duties, assist with product procurement
• Assist with management and organization of studio
• ...and anything else our clients or the business needs!
