Description
GENERAL SUMMARY/ OVERVIEW STATEMENT
The Gastroenterology Resource Nurse is a bachelor’s prepared registered nurse who will play a crucial role in supporting clinic access, care coordination, and addressing pre-procedure inquiries in the Gastroenterology Division. Reporting to the Nurse Manager, in collaboration with the Quality and Safety team, this role is intended to be integral part of the healthcare team, ensuring efficient patient care delivery, effective communication, and optimal patient outcomes. We are looking for a highly motivated nurse who will be flexible to the nursing needs of our busy Gastroenterology practice. The Ideal candidate for this position would have an interest in quality improvement as well as a strong understanding gastrointestinal conditions, procedures, and treatment modalities.
