We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager in the Austin metropolitan area to lead and oversee TxDOT Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) projects across Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation infrastructure, project delivery, and TxDOT standards and procedures. This role is responsible for managing CEI project teams, ensuring quality and compliance, and fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage all phases of TxDOT CEI projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
• Oversee and coordinate field inspection, documentation, and project controls to ensure compliance with TxDOT specifications, procedures, and the Construction Contract Manual (CCM).
• Serve as the primary liaison with TxDOT, contractors, subconsultants, and internal project teams.
• Monitor project performance, budget, and schedule, implementing corrective actions as needed to ensure successful delivery.
• Manage project documentation and reporting in accordance with TxDOT and company requirements.
• Supervise and mentor CEI field staff, inspectors, and record keepers, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and accountability.
• Review and approve project documentation, pay estimates, change orders, and reports.
• Participate in progress meetings, constructability reviews, and issue resolution discussions.
• Ensure adherence to Historically Underutilized Business (HUB), Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and other compliance programs.
• Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals, client presentations, and pursuit strategies.
