This is a Program Manager, GS-0340-13 position for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Tulsa District and located in Tinker AFB, OK. Responsibilities include managing the efficient and effective coordination and accomplishment of the planning, scope, development, design, construction, and direction of major programs and projects. The role also involves the overall management, control, coordination, and execution of assigned projects. It coordinates the program planning, design, and implementation of competitive and non-competitive acquisitions through source selection processes for programs / projects of varying scope and complexity, as required. The position represents the Programs and Project Management Division (PPMD) and serves as the Governments primary point of contact for programs / projects assigned.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : One year of specialized experience which includes 1. Utilizing strong management procedures for the assessment and development of a programs effectiveness and 2. Managing design and acquisition milestones and budgets from planning through construction of assigned project and 3. Directing project delivery activities for planning, design, acquisitions, construction, and close out completed work. Time in Grade Requirement : Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12). Education Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial / probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required. This position requires you to submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 278) or a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
