Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Special Education Teacher position is available for the upcoming school year at a K-12 school located in Pleasant Hill, MO. This contract role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students with diverse learning needs across multiple grade levels.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs.
• Adapt instructional materials and teaching strategies to accommodate various disabilities and learning styles.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience.
• Monitor and document student progress, making data-driven adjustments to interventions.
• Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student growth and independence.
