Join our team and bring your best self to the table.#bringyourflavor#LI-ED1What you will be doingThe Own Brands Strategic Sourcing Department has an opening for a Sr. Sourcing Analyst.The position will be based in Pleasanton, CA, Phoenix, AZ, Boise, ID, Dallas, TX or one of our main regional offices (Seattle, WA, Portland, OR, Denver, CO, Chicago, IL, or Fullerton, CA).Main responsibilitiesRunning a competitive event : Ensure smooth execution of category review and event timelines. Develop key category documents (e.g., review, strategy, award recommendations). Collate RFI and RFP responses, work with sourcing analytics team on negotiation docs. Collaborate with the contracts team to manage vendor contract paperwork.Leading analysis : Lead outcomes on complex category-strategy and spend analyses. Build preliminary award scenarios and vendor competencies. Collaborate with the sourcing analytics team on all analyses.Vendor management :

Manage vendor communications during competitive events and day-to-day activities. Handle vendor feedback through sample reviews and other activities.Executing on the day-to-day : Support non-competitive event activities (e.g., cost changes, product discontinuations, new item sourcing).The salary range is $72,100.00 to $93,640.00 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates. What we are searching for Preferred degree in : Economics, Mathematics, Food Science, Managerial Economics, or Finance.

5+ years' experience and the education listed above. Good understanding of sourcing, the supply chain (manufacturing, distribution) for multiple consumable categories, preferably including Food and Beverage.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Intermediate to advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Ability to understand and work with multiple enterprise-wide systems / tools.

Ability to understand and work with multiple enterprise-wide systems including various sources of data to build a business case.

Excellent presentation and influencing skills using PowerPoint to make recommendations to leadership.

Ability to lead cross-functional projects teams ensuring timelines are met and results are exceeded via strong relationship and collaboration skills.

Able to communicate clearly, turning complex analysis into simple messages.

High energy level, initiative, creative problem-solving ability and sense of urgency.

Excellent team interpersonal skills and ability to handle multiple tasks while providing superior service.

Able to identify and implement business process opportunities to continuously improve department efficiencies and effectiveness.
