Our new revolutionary integrated Anthem Flight Deck offers unparalleled levels of connectivity, an exciting and intuitive user interface and a highly scalable and customizable design.As a Software Engr II, within our (NGA) Next-Generation Avionics group, you will impact the design, architecture and deployment of cutting-edge Flight Display Systems, by delivering innovative features, implementing functionalities, enhancing the user experience and the overall advancement of technology.In this role, you will have an impact on the development and advancement of cutting-edge Anthem Flight Display Platform software that will shape the future of Avionics technology. Key Responsibilities Design, develop and implement advanced software solutions for Avionics Display systems, applications and services, ensuring high performance, reliability, and user-friendliness Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design software architectures, and implement software modules. MUST HAVEBachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics2-3+ years of experience in embedded software engineeringProficiency in C / C++ software developmentWE VALUEBachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science / Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.Understanding various software development life cycles, methodologies and tools.Proficiency in programming languages such as C / C++, Python, Open GL, etcExperience developing software in a Real-Time Operating System (RTOS)Experience with Avionics products is of a PLUS (but not required) i.e. Displays & Graphics, Flight Mgmt, Flight Planning, Flight Controls, Flight Displays (PFD), Traffic Collision Avoidance (TCAS), Crew Alert Messaging (CAS), Terrain, Radios, etcExperience in embedded software development for aerospace, avionics, display technologies, or related industries is of value.Experience operating in an Agile framework desiredKnowledge of software configuration management and change management practices.BENFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELL In addition to a competitive salary, leading-edge work, and developing solutions side-by-side with dedicated experts in their fields, Honeywell employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
