As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for generating leads, qualifying prospects, and setting up meetings for the sales team. Responsibilities
- Generate Leads : Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through various channels, including door-to-door and retail.
- Qualify Prospects : Assess potential customers to determine their suitability for our community solar and third-party energy solutions.
- Set Up Meetings : Schedule appointments and meetings for the sales team with qualified prospects.
- Maintain CRM : Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions with prospects in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Stay Informed : Keep up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor offerings.
Qualifications
Educational Background : High school diploma / GED required; a degree in a related field is preferred.Experience : Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a related field is beneficial.Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with prospects and team members.Organizational Skills : Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.Self-Motivation : Highly motivated and goal-oriented with a strong work ethic.Compensation
