Lead Layout Artist - Series

The Lead Layout Artist interprets the storyboard and animatics of the project, adapting them into a 3D environment. They will direct and handle the layouts, helping guide them to translate the artistic vision of the Executive Producer and Animation Supervisor, ensuring that the vision is executed.

Responsibilities :

• Work with the Executive Producer, Animation Supervisor, and Supervising Producer to establish the visual narrative of the film
• Responsible for the cinematography, staging, and set dressing
• Reviews the layout with the Animation Supervisor and sets up the layout for key shots
• Work with the vendor studio to achieve the desired animation setup and will also work with the animation files directly
• Provide and innovate ideas / solutions for the layout process, bringing in new tools and ideas to bring the concept to life on screen

Compensation :

The anticipated base salary for this position is $2,655.52 / week to $2,800 / week. This role qualifies for benefits pursuant to the collective bargaining agreement. The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors.
