About The Position

We are currently seeking a Board-Certified PA for a locum tenens role in Springfield, OH.

Start Date : As soon as credentialed!

Schedule : 10-11 days / month Friday Afternoon – through the next full week and weekend either Sunday evening or Monday AM .

Position Overview :

• Will report to Cardiovascular Surgeon
• Average Number of Patients Per Day :   5-10
• Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgery preferred; will consider Critical Care experience - NO new grads
• Patient Demographic : Adult and Geriatric
• EMR System : Epic

Required Duties and Procedures : Assist in Surgery – Not required

Write Prescriptions Coordination of Care Rounding Interpret Tests Order Tests Retrieval of Vascular Tissues for Use as a Bypass Conduit – Not required

Job Requirements

Requirement : Board Certified PA-C

OH, State License - willing to consider providers needing to obtain OH license only if it can be acquired quickly

ACLS - REQUIRED

COVID Vaccination – REQUIRED

Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgery Experience Preferred; will consider Critical Care experience - NO new grads – REQUIRED
