Overview

Our Manufacturing Engineers develop and implement optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes in accordance with product specifications and quality standards. You will coordinate the launch of new or revised products in our newly built facility located in Gorham, ME.

In This Role, You Will

• Create, edit, and maintain engineering documentation such as geometry specifications, product drawings, process documentation, and project data analysis.
• Oversee specification standardization and operate heavily within Excel, utilizing advanced functions for programming.
• Assist in the creation of new products and evaluate existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and draft manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment, collaborating with equipment vendors, and implementing cost-saving measures.
• Lead Continuous Improvement initiatives including cycle time optimization, SMED setup time reduction, reducing machine downtime, increasing machine efficiencies, and other LEAN initiatives.
