A leading global investment firm is building a next-generation data ecosystem and in need of a solutions-driven global SVP of Data Operations to architect and lead the operational nerve center behind it. What You’ll Lead
Build and oversee a global data operations organization focused on reliability, observability, and proactive issue management.Define the operating model, staffing plan, and training strategy.Create a unified monitoring framework offering real-time visibility into data movement, pipeline performance, and platform health.Implement predictive alerts, automation, and self-healing capabilities to prevent business impact.Lead the incident management function, driving coordination, communication, and root-cause analysis across engineering and product teams.Partner with Engineering to embed operational readiness and resiliency into design, development, and release cycles.Oversee data quality operations, including reconciliation and validation processes that strengthen enterprise data trust.Establish KPIs and dashboards tracking uptime, SLA adherence, incident trends, and overall platform performance.Manage vendor relationships, SLAs, and operational budgets for global data providers.Drive automation, standardization, and operational scalability across the data ecosystem.Foster cross-functional collaboration and develop a culture committed to accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.What You Bring
10–15 years of experience in data operations, data management, or similar enterprise functions.Deep experience with modern data platforms (Azure, Snowflake, Databricks) and observability / monitoring toolsets.Strong understanding of data pipeline architectures and incident management frameworks.Background in data quality operations and enterprise data controls.Ability to bridge engineering teams, data governance, and business stakeholders in a complex environment.Proven leadership experience building high-performing global.Clear communication skills and a leadership style grounded in partnership and influence.Personal Strengths
