We deliver environmental and sustainability services to our clients through the integration of over 30 advisory, technical environmental, and engineering disciplines to help clients address some of their most complex challenges around sustainability. As our new mid-level Engineer or Scientist, you will play an important role on a team whose work is essential to achieving this goal.

Qualifications / Education / Memberships :
o Understanding of soil and groundwater contamination assessment & remediation (, methods, chemistry)
o Knowledge of Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation and EPA regulations
o Skilled in writing technical documents and reports
o Ability to train and mentor junior staff
o Understanding of civil construction and industrial operations, including associated equipment, large and small
o Knowledge of chemistry and analytical methods for testing soil, water, or waste
o OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER Certification
Physical Demands
Position is office-based, but field work and travel may be required as part of this position. With or without reasonable accommodation, employees will occasionally be required to perform the following tasks : o Ability to perform filed assignments lasting up to two weeks in duration
o Ability to work outdoors in a variety of climate conditions (including the Arctic)
o Ability to travel by airplane, helicopter, and car, including overnight travel
o Work at high elevations
o Frequently walk or climb stairs
o Lift and / or move equipment weighing up to 35 pounds
o Handle large items
