VP Global Marketing

Overview

The VP of Global Marketing will be responsible for shaping and executing the marketing strategy for Myriad Genetics' $850M+ business, driving growth, brand relevance, and commercial impact across three core areas : Oncology, Prenatal Health, and Mental Health. This leader will own all downstream marketing functions - brand, communications, digital marketing, demand generation, and events - and will partner closely with product, sales, and medical teams to bring innovative go-to-market strategies to life.

The ideal candidate is a bold, modern marketing leader with a proven ability to elevate brand equity, build integrated campaigns, and deliver measurable business outcomes. Experience in oncology marketing and brand leadership is strongly preferred. This leader will bring a strong point of view on how marketing drives growth in healthcare and will play a pivotal role in shaping team culture, cross-functional ways of working, and the company's voice in the market.

This is a high-impact, high-visibility leadership role reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer and partnering with executive leadership. The role will manage six direct report leaders across Women's Health Marketing, Oncology Marketing, Mental Health Marketing, Digital Marketing & Demand Generation, Brand Marketing, and Communications & Events.

Key Responsibilities

• Brand Leadership

Define and evolve Myriad's enterprise brand, ensuring relevance, differentiation, and consistency across all touchpoints.

Build and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive adoption, awareness, and revenue growth across Oncology, Prenatal, and Mental Health businesses.

Drive innovation in digital marketing, including paid media, SEO / SEM, content marketing, and marketing automation.

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team focused on marketing execution

Partner across the organization to ensure marketing strategy is aligned with enterprise growth goals.

Qualifications

15+ years of progressive experience in marketing leadership roles, ideally with a mix of healthcare (pharma, biotech, diagnostics, or medical devices) and broader consumer experience.

Oncology marketing and brand-building experience strongly preferred.

Demonstrated success leading brand strategy, digital marketing, and GTM execution in complex, competitive markets.

Strong financial and analytical acumen; proven ability to measure marketing impact and tie activities to revenue outcomes.

Track record of building and scaling omni-channel marketing campaigns.

Experience managing and inspiring teams through organizational change and transformation.

Ability to communicate complex scientific / medical concepts simply and powerfully to diverse audiences.

Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and influence management skills.
