We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Permanent Staff Tax & Partnership Accountant to join our dynamic legal team. This role will be instrumental in handling tax-related matters for our firm and our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax accounting, corporate tax returns, state and local tax, federal & state tax, tax preparation, audit and tax, sales tax, and tax returns. This position requires a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in the field.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare and review accurate tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
• Conduct complex tax research and planning to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with tax laws.
• Handle federal, state, and local tax filings, ensuring timely submission and payment.
• Manage audits by tax authorities, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Maintain thorough and up-to-date knowledge of changing tax laws and regulations.
• Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual tax provisions.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide tax advice and planning in accordance with business objectives.
• Develop and implement effective tax strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce potential tax risks.
• Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors as needed.
