Staff Nurse, Ambulatory

Job Summary

This Staff RN role with provide support to Perianesthesia patients in the Surgery department Pre / Post areas. Rotation between pre-op and PACU with on-call rotation of about 1x / week. We are open to 8 or 10hr shifts starting from 6a-8a Monday - Friday with only on-call Holiday rotation. Provides and coordinates patient care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care.

Related Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
• Associates in Nursing; Bachelors preferred.
• Current IL State RN licensure and CPR Certification
• Team and customer service skills
• Computer skills - windows and database systems
• Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills
• ACLS, PALS, EKG monitoring, arrhythmia interpretation, airway and ventilator management as required per department
