RN House Calls - TN

We are looking to hire an RN for house calls. This position will be going into the home completing hands on patient care as part of a clinical trial. Your day will consist of traveling to a patient's home and completing a sequence of procedures, charting all the data, and submitting back the laboratory samples - all per the established processes that the nurse will be trained on. Visit duration is 3.5 hours, per visit, on average.

This is a phase III randomized placebo-controlled interventional clinical trial. Nurses should anticipate completing at least one home visit per day (2 when the patients are in close proximity to each other.)

Monday-Friday- 40 hours a week

May need to travel within a 100-mile radius. Mileage is reimbursed and in most cases so is lodging if needed.

This job will have the following responsibilities :

• Performs territory management and route planning
• Reports AE / PC / OSF as required by program guidelines
• Ensures patient privacy by keeping related PHI, documents and demo supplies in a secure location
• Provides product education and training for both patients and / or HCPs per program guidelines
• Maintains program database and responds to member and physician inquiries regarding clinical programs.
• Makes recommendations regarding escalation of issues, and follows through with escalation process.
• Completes program specific training as requested and within required timelines
• Submits weekly program related expense reports and mileage
• Special projects / assignments as needed.
