As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent hotel location, you will play a key role in providing a welcoming presence while assisting guests and staff with security-related matters. Your primary responsibility will be to remain stationed at the front desk, offering exceptional customer service, monitoring access, and supporting smooth operations. What You'll Do : Provide excellent customer service to guests, visitors, and staff at the location by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies. Monitor entry and exit points at the front desk to help control access and help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed according to Allied Universal protocols. Maintain detailed logs and reports of security-related activities, incidents, and observations at the front desk. Assist with visitor management, including checking identification, issuing visitor passes, and providing directions or information as needed. Support emergency response activities by communicating with appropriate personnel and following established procedures. Maintain a professional presence at the front desk, representing Allied Universal and the client location in a courteous and approachable manner. Minimum Requirements : Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
