Job Description
A confidential defense manufacture is seeking an experienced Desktop Support Technician to provide on-site technical support across multiple facilities. This role is perfect for a hands-on IT professional who enjoys problem-solving, supporting clinical staff, and working in a fast-paced, mission-driven setting.
Key Responsibilities
Provide desktop, hardware, and software support to end-users.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues through an IT ticketing system (ServiceNow or similar).
Install, configure, and maintain computers, peripherals, and applications.
Travel between assigned sites to provide timely and efficient support.
Ensure accurate documentation of issues, resolutions, and system updates.
Collaborate with IT leadership and other team members to improve workflows and optimize support processes.
Qualifications
Minimum 1 years of IT support experience in a desktop or site support role.
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or comparable IT ticketing systems.
VantageClear certification (or equivalent active security clearance) is required
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work effectively with non-technical users.
High attention to detail, organization, and ability to prioritize tasks.
Reliable transportation required; must be able to travel between sites daily.
