Electrical Engineering Intern

Department Overview

NPI Automation team designs and builds Proof of Concept tools for Engineering and Manufacturing. Anything from simple mechanical fixtures to semi-automated vision systems to fully automated robotic workstations.

Position Responsibilities

• Documents design - electrical schematics wiring / cabling diagrams I / O list. AutoCAD / DraftSight preferred.
• Troubleshooting complex automated equipment consists of Allen Bradley PLC Keyence Vision system Sensors and actuators.
• Hands on in wiring electrical control panel.
• Configure and setup sensors no contact displacement sensor contact switch IO-Link devices / smart sensors.
• Learn and implement basic to intermediate machine vision applications using Cognex / Keyence smart camera.

Salary Statement with pay range

Bloom Energy is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The total compensation for this position is based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills and experience.

The pay range for this position $36 - $50 per hour.

Salary Ranges : $45.75 - $50.00
