Director of Data Governance

A company is looking for a Director of Data Governance to lead the execution of its enterprise-wide data and AI governance strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Build and lead the Enterprise Data & AI Governance Program, ensuring alignment with ethical and regulatory standards

Oversee governance strategies across the data and AI / ML lifecycle, from design to monitoring

Define KPIs and governance health metrics to track data quality and compliance

Required Qualifications

10-12 years of experience in data governance, AI / ML governance, or data-centric risk / compliance roles

Strong understanding of data governance tools and frameworks (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK)

Familiarity with regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and CCPA

Hands-on experience with data and AI tooling (e.g., Microsoft Purview, Databricks)

Bachelor's degree in information security, computer science, or related discipline preferred
