EJ has an immediate opening for a 1st shift Distribution Clerk. Summary : This job consists of performing all clerical functions of a Distribution Center.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Operates PC based shipping scale
• Keeps an accurate log of daily traffic transactions
• Verifies weights of product / scrap received and shipped
• Prepares and reviews shipping documents
• Receives and directs incoming calls to appropriate personnel
• Helps service customers including truck drivers
• Prepares outgoing mail
• Assists Office Manager with all general office tasks
• Promotes safety awareness, accident prevention, and employee involvement with regard to a safe work environment. Ensures employees understand the safety expectations of the organization.
• Promotes the culture, the mission and vision, and the core values of the company. This includes adherence to and promotion of the company safety beliefs, employee engagement, competencies, code of conduct, and other policies and procedures.
