About The Position

📅 Position Type : Full-Time Locum Tenens (1.0 FTE)

🕐 Schedule : Monday–Friday, 7 : 30 AM – 5 : 00 PM

🧑‍⚕️ Setting : Inpatient + Outpatient Clinic

🔍 Position Overview :

We are seeking a Board-Certified ENT / Otolaryngologist to provide full-scope ENT services across a thriving clinic in Clive and inpatient consult / call coverage in Des Moines . This is a full-time position (1.0 FTE) with both clinic and OR involvement .

🕓 Patient Contact Hours : 36 per week

🏥 Inpatient Responsibilities : Yes

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Staffing Ratio : 1 : 1 physician-nurse & ancillary support

🏥 OR scheduling is flexible—coordinated with the hospital team

📞 Call : Participation in call schedule (hospital)

🛠️ Practice Details :

✅ Full-spectrum ENT services

🏢 2–3 exam rooms per provider

🔬 Onsite access to imaging, lab, and pharmacy (within building)

👨‍⚕️ Clinic volume : 30+ patients / day

⏱️ Appointment Length : 15 minutes

🌎 Patient base from Des Moines metro + surrounding outreach areas

🎓 Teaching opportunities available

✅ Requirements :

🎯 Board Certified in Otolaryngology – Required

📄 Active Iowa License or IMLC – Required

📆 Full-Time Availability – Required

💼 Experience in ENT practice – Required

🛡️ Malpractice must be included in all submitted rates
