Oracle Health Interoperability Regulatory Strategist

Modern healthcare demands integrated solutions. As an Interoperability Regulatory Strategist, you will monitor and evaluate state and federal legislation, regulations and guidance, and work in collaboration with product engineering and development teams as well as subject matter experts to advise and support the development of Oracle products, as well as draft strategy concept and papers to further Oracle's healthcare mission. You will establish strong partnerships with the business to identify and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. You will work primarily with the Oracle Health & Life Sciences business units but will also interact with all Oracle business units selling products to the health and life sciences industries. This role requires an individual who can keep up with the fast-paced environment of software development and an evolving regulatory landscape. For this role we are seeking a regulatory strategist who is collaborative, a creative problem solver, and dedicated to excellence in their work.

You will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing both state and federal policies. This role involves in-depth knowledge of the legislation, regulations, supporting standards and implementation guides, and collaborating with various departments to ensure understanding and compliance, preparing documentation, and strategy papers.

Responsibilities :

  • Read and analyze state and federal health IT and interoperability regulations to assess impact to Oracle Health products and services.
  • Work closely with Oracle's product engineering teams to assess product functionality and develop regulatory strategy.
  • Communicate complex regulatory and technical requirements to product and development teams.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for internal clients with interpretation of applicable standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with product development, regulatory, and quality assurance teams to ensure compliance requirements and standards.
  • Conduct gap analysis and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree, or advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience, preferably working in a healthcare policy or compliance office for a large health system, consulting on Health IT regulations, or working in relevant government experience.
  • Experience working with or in state or federal government preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal health IT, data exchange, or interoperability policy.
  • Experience working with Oracle Health EHR products preferred.
  • Must be able to work collaboratively across many different teams on complex regulatory requirements.
  • Membership in healthcare trade associates and industry groups preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adjust and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced and continually evolving business environment.
  • Technical acumen and the ability to understand and interpret technical specifications.

    Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US : Hiring Range in USD from : $87,000 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity. Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
