POSITION SUMMARY
Gastroenterologist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in diagnosing and treating gastrointestinal disorders, with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This role requires collaboration with other medical professionals and the ability to work in various settings, including hospitals and outpatient clinics.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders, including but not limited to GERD, IBS, IBD, and liver diseases
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, and flexible sigmoidoscopy
- Evaluate and manage both acute and chronic GI conditions in outpatient and inpatient settings
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including primary care, surgery, and oncology, to optimize patient care
- Educate patients and their families about treatment options, preventive measures, and lifestyle modifications.
REQUIREMENTS
Must be Board Certified in Gastroenterology or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.Medical License (Required)Ability to obtain a Texas medical license or have a Texas medical license in good standing, DEA and Medicaid number.A minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical setting, acute care is preferred.Familiarity with DME (Durable Medical Equipment) is advantageous.Proven ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.Strong communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.EDUCATION
