Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIH, CPI

Must-Have : Must be able to pass arrhythmia and medication test on first day.

Description :

Position / Specialty : Medical Surgical / Telemetry.

This is an 8-week position.

No requested time off will be considered after initial submission.

Two holidays with no on call or additional shifts required.

Ratios are 1 : 6.

First-timers accepted.

Weekend coverage as needed.

On-call requirements apply for holiday coverage.

Clinicians may float within their scope to meet facility needs.

No block scheduling accommodations available.

Local candidates are not accepted.

All requested time off must be included in the initial submission.

Must be able to pass the cardiac dysrhythmia and moderate sedation tests during orientation.

Attendance policy must be adhered to; missing more than two shifts without a reasonable explanation may result in contract review.

Candidates must complete compliance documents prior to starting.

Travelers can only attempt the pass / fail tests once.

Recent experience with electronic charting systems is preferred but not required.

This role requires managing a variety of patient medical and surgical-related illnesses.

Patients will likely require continuous cardiac monitoring and interventions in an acute care setting.

Additional competencies may include managing cardiac drips, blood product administration, and understanding isolation precautions.

Interdisciplinary support will be available from various services.
